Unexpected challenges with a twist
The hotel’s decor was charming, and the staff remained friendly throughout, even during hiccups. Location was prime for exploring local attractions.
Unfortunately, the WiFi was inconsistent, which was frustrating when trying to plan daily outings. The initial room switch was also confusing due to a lack of clear options.

The Junior Suite was spacious and comfortable, featuring air conditioning and hot water, along with a nice view. Breakfast offered good options and was made to order, which was a nice touch. David and the staff were exceptionally helpful, addressing our needs with friendliness and professionalism. However, the breakfast lacked self-service options, and some rooms didn't have windows, which may not suit everyone’s preferences. The central location was convenient for exploring the area without being overly noisy.

I stayed at Santa Cecilia B&B and truly enjoyed the cozy ambiance. The location made it easy to walk to nearby shops and restaurants. My room was spacious and very clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my visit. Breakfast was a highlight. I loved that it was made to order, and the options were delicious. However, the shower had some issues with cold water. At times, it took a while to get hot water going, which was a bit frustrating. Additionally, breakfast service could be slow, sometimes taking longer than expected even with few guests around. Overall, the experience was nice, but those small inconveniences could be improved.

The location was fantastic, making it easy to explore all the attractions around Cartagena. The spacious Junior Suite we stayed in was clean and modern, and the breakfast options were delicious! However, it would have been better if they had more facilities available since it is primarily a B&B. Overall, the friendly staff really made us feel welcome.

Despite the attractive features, the stay came with drawbacks. The air conditioning was inadequate, leading to a bit of humidity in the room, which might be uncomfortable if you prefer a cooler retreat. Additionally, the balcony was empty, leaving us without the option to truly enjoy the outdoor space. Finally, the breakfast experience lacked some organization, especially during busy times, which could deter those looking for a smooth start to their day.
